Cystic Fibrosis Awareness

Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disorder, people are born with, that affect mainly the lungs and pancreas. The lungs produce a thick, sticky mucus that clogs the airways and can make it harder to breathe leading too many infections. The mucus can also cause problems in the pancreas for when they need to digest proteins in foods.

The two children you see in this campaign, are my niece and nephew. They are affected every day by this genetic disorder. Before they were born, no one in my family had known how serious and life threatening this can be. I felt compelled to choose this as my campaign topic to bring awareness to everyone who sees this. The viewer is also offered different and simple ways that they can help bring awareness and support the research, so that every person with CF can live to see another day and breathe easy.
